Legends Of Kaigon
Carebear N00b
A New Adventure
I exited the temple, rage pumping through my veins.
You'd be pissed too, if that tree had made you praise him for six straight hours, and then simply turns out to be a plain old tree. That talks.
My therapist says my mind is trying to find a way to cope with the loss of my Master. I think the tree and my therapist are in cahoots in a grand scheme to destroy me. And my brother is sleeping with my dog. The therapist says that's crazy, but screw him. He's trying to destroy me.
Anyway, outside the Temple was a tower of some sort. I was rather surprised I hadn't noticed it before I came in, as its RIGHT next to the Temple. But then, it doesn't have a fancy glowing portal that attracts your attention away from stupid boring things like towers in front of it either.
I decided it would be a good idea to run up to the top, and talk to the guard up top. But then I thought, "What kind of guard lets an entire Temple be burned to the ground? Obviously, a lazy one. He was probably asleep, and didn't see anything happen. Going up to talk to him would be a waste of my time."
Oh, right. Lemme go grab a bucket and then head down to the riv* HEY!! I know what you're up to! You're trying to keep me away from that tower! Well your scheme didn't work! I'm gonna head up there right now!
See?
Anyway, once I got up there, I ran into a rather odd looking gentleman wearing a bathrobe.
Immediately I questioned him about what happened to my Master.
More or less…
He seemed unwilling to divulge the information I sought. So I decided to take drastic measures.
Dude, I'm busy.
Later.
Now, where was I…
Oh yeah. I decided to take drastic action.
Yeah, fire will do that. Now shut up!
Anyway…
I DECIDED TO TAKE DRASTIC ACTION!
You know… he could have at least PRETENDED to care.
Anyway, it was obvious that he wasn't going to cough up the info peacefully. That's fine. I can play hardball too.
Unfortunately, I don't feel like showing you the screenshots of me crying and begging, so instead I drew a picture depicting what REALLY happened.
Pretty convincing, huh?
After all this, he still didn't give me any decent information about where my Master was. Or maybe he did. I wasn't really listening. That's kind if beside the point though, really.
What MATTERS is that after I went back downstairs, I found a piece of paper laying on the ground. It was from the Master!
So now I had my first clue! He knew someone was trying to kill him! He was so smart.
He probably escaped off into the mountains, to avoid them! I can tell this because he uses the words 'donkey', 'goat', and 'monkey'. And there aren't any of them in the mountains. Well, there are mountain goats, but he didn't specify the mountain part, so I'm going to assume he didn't mean them.
And even if he did, two out of three ain't bad.
Well, off to the mountains!
